Theodramatic triangulation and the future of systematic theology

"Theodramatic fittingness is the result of triangulating Scripture, church and world (cultural context). On what precisely do there three coordinates fix? The knowledge of God. God is the 'doable knowable' and to know God is to know what to say and do to glorify him in any given context. Theodramatic triangulation yields theodramatic understanding; in a word, sapientia - Christ, the wisdom of God."

From Kevin Vanhoozer's essay On the Very Idea of a Theological System in Always Reforming, Apollos IVP, 2006, p. 177
