but not for the mind's
endless cacophony of thought.
Pixels form into text
which the eye scans,
never tired of seeing
to satisfy the mind's hunger.
Rest halted by rush,
as the patient returns and
life's rich detail is reduced
to a smudge by
the machine's motion.
